Saturday 27th November - write off!!

After a few nights of severe frost, then several inches of snowfall on Friday night, most clubs were left with no option other than to call their games off.

Nottingham United v South Normanton Athletic is the exeption as they play on an the all weather pitch at Gresham Pavillion. Decided not to go to this although the reverse fixture in September was 9-3 to Normo!

Not going out gives me a chance to review the season stats so far :-

APTCOO - we were hoping to raise £120.00 for this Mansfield based charity, by donating £0.15 each for every goal we chalk up on our travels. That would mean we need 400 goals over the whole season. So far the total is 315 goals and we have only had one goal-less game (£95.50) -- with 6 months of the season still to go £200.00 should be achievable! It has to be said as well, that a lot of people have donated a fiver here, and a few quid there (£55.25) - and at the end of November, the grand total is £150.75 !!
