Kimberley Town 0-3 Nottingham United

Thursday 28th October 2010 -- CML Floodlit Cup South

Q. How bad was this game?
A. Very!

Nottingham's no. 11 scored with a looping shot on 28, and then their no.9 took his time before placing the ball past the Kimberley keeper a couple of minutes before the break.

The home keeper gifted United a third on 58 after failing to hold on to a shot. The no. 9 was on the spot and slid in and somehow managed to turn the ball into the net while lying on the ground. Referee Mr. Gary Smith had a poor game - very picky and he booked three home players for simple back chat -- yet his performance in the Blackwell/Heanor game was more than acceptable.

30 odd turned out for this game, but could any of them have thought that the £3 entrance fee was money well spent? I seriously doubt it. F-T 0-3

Admission £3
H/C 34

Saturday - we are off to see Forest Town v Bilborough Pelican - we were thinking of Greenwood v Blackwell, but Blackwell once in a week is enough!
