Tuesday 15th March 2011 -- Notts F.A. Senior Cup 1/4 final
First off - well done Carlton for reducing the entry fee to £5 for this game! I'm sure this was a big reason the attendance was up from the Millers' usual 60 odd to the official figure of 105.

Unusually for me, I managed to land a parking space right near the exit - no queuing to get out and we were home by 9:50 pm! Spent a fair time pre-kick off chatting to Eastwood Town boss Paul Cox. The Badgers are already through to the semis, and Paul was casting an eye over their possible opponents.
Ex- Eastwood and Hucknall physio Fred Kirk came to stand with us for the first half - always good to be in Fred's company ....
Carlton went one up in just the 5th minute, after MASSIAH McDONALD latched onto a ball through the middle, before stepping past Walker and slotting home. That's the first half over. H-T 1-0
Trev kindly got the teas in, and Brian ( supposedly our mate ) handed out the cake .... but not to us! I think Kev got a choccy bar.... to be fair with £180 worth of dental work to protect, cake was out of the question anyway......still, it would have been nice to have been asked!! F-T 2-0
Admission £5
