Wednesday 20/10/2010 - CML Supreme Division
Went early expecting a big turn out - the other local games that were scheduled had all been called off for one reason or another. Car-park was full as usual, but only counted about 60 present.
Name checks: Rob Townsend, Rob Hornby, Brian Dennett, Mr. Mac, Trev, James Senior, Dave Bramwell were all in attendance, and Scott Mason was running a line. The game finished 1-2.
Parkhouse scored in the 11th minute, then Sutton levelled on 32 through a Dean Hadley near post header - one of the few players on the pitch that I actually knew! Parkhouse regained the lead 3 minutes later, and that was it! We might as well have gone home after that!!
The only other thing of note was some nutter waltzing across the pitch with a guitar strapped to his back -- shouting " Jesus loves you! I'm a walking dead man" etc etc.... strange, but it gave us all a chuckle anyway, and took our minds off the less than exciting football that was on offer ..............F-T 1-2
Admission £3 Programme - never saw one Coffee at half-time, freebee courtesy Rob Hornby - nice enough for the price! Kev H/C 60
